First Class Woodfinishing was founded by Richard Dignam in 2005. Richard is a qualified wood finisher completing his four year FAS qualification in 2001. During his time as an apprentice he worked full time for Castlebrook Crafts, a company specialising in making and finishing bedroom and office furniture.
Richard then left and worked as head of the finishing department for a well known kitchen company before deciding to leave and set up business
on his own.
There are currently 5 members of staff, all experienced in the finishing of interior and exterior joinery. Being a small company allows for the professional and personal experience First Class Woodfinishing offers.
